Felt safe, not stressed. All table service. People were wearing their mask when out their seats. Very enjoyable night! Toilets are clean and mostly in touch free. Taking both cash and card. Only thing I can complain about is due to reduced menus at this time they have no vegetarian options available on the gluten free menu.

Came from Christmas Lunch with the extended family (before recommendations for only three households thankfully, and adults all had -ve LFTs). There were 14 adults and 4 kids. Wee wee given the Lamp Room to ourselves. Wee had lots of room and a table for our Secret Santa gifts. We had one waitress - thanks a lot, wish I could remember your name - and everything went very well. Food was very good and the price was excellent. Everyone got the correct food and drinks, on time, first time. Happy to recommend and will definitely be back after the year.

This review is for the lamp room. Not the Dean tavern. The lamp room was an in house restaurant however management has now changed since originally posting this review.
Had been meaning to visit this place for the last year or so. Finally made it and was delighted it lived up to the expectations. All the food was fresh, well prepared and hot! There was plenty of options for our 2 year old and all the staff were friendly and accommodating of our needs. The menu is limited consisting of traditional gastropub items however I appreciate the limited menu is prob why the food is fresh and arrived hot
