Services
As your local drainage specialist we can assist with all your water main and drainage problems from repairs, surveys, installation, and unblocking. Lead pipes present a number of dangers to your health, especially pregnant women and children. Using moling we are usually able to replace them with ease.
We offer this no-dig technique of Impact Moling as a fast, low cost reliable method for installation of water pipes across Cheshire. Typical installations for Impact Moling can be used for all small utility services like water pipes under driveways, roads, gardens, trees, patios, existing structures and environmentally sensitive areas.
DHC Utilities are a Water Industry Approved Contractor. As a result we are frequently the preferred choice for lead pipe replacement, diversions and connections. Our team of specialists can be with you quickly, investigating and fixing your problem whatever it is. As water runs through lead pipes, particles of lead enter the water supply.
Blocked drains are a common issue that are easy to spot. Partially blocked drains, or ones in need of maintenance, are not as obvious as the water will drain away overtime. Drains that serve your property only on your land are your responsibility to maintain. The point at which drains are used by more than one property are considered shared services, even if they are still on private land.
There are three types of water main pipes and it's important to know the difference between them as they define who is responsible for maintenance and replacements. Water mains are large pipes located in most cases under public land, such as roads. Water mains are, as the name suggests, the main pipe suppling water to an area.

I was met in the morning by a nasty overspill coming from the drain cover plate at the side of my house, I got this company’s number from a friend that recently had a similar issue. When I called they we able to come out the same evening, Raymond (The Team leader I think?) was both polite and friendly. He opened up the drain cover and could see that part of the pipe had corroded and was leaking water. He was able to diagnose and quote for the work which he said would takes a couple of hours. I didn’t expect him to be able to resolve the same day but he did. I was very satisfied with the price
