We have a large fleet of modern vehicles, based in east Yorkshire, suitable for local and long distance within the UK and Europe.
Here at Tonks we know there are times when you need to put your belongings into storage, so we can offer the complete storage solution for you by using our secure container storage. We offer a containerised storage unit which is a large wooden box (5ft x 7ft x 6ft) which holds 250 cubic feet. The container are transported to you on one of our custom built removal vehicles.
Packing for your move is one of the most important parts of moving home. Our professional, comprehensive packing service is another way we can help take the stress out of the big day. Packing usually takes place the day before your move, and we will ensure that all your belongings are carefully packed in moving boxes ready for transporting to your new home.

Thank you so much to Richard and his amazing team. They moved us from Lincolnshire to North Yorkshire at the end of August and it could not have gone any better. Their immense hard work, teamwork, patience, good humour and 'can do' attitude turned what could have been a stressful time in to one that was much smoother and more enjoyable than we could have ever imagined. Tonks were great when they moved us and nothing was too much trouble and were a friendly bunch. They suggested we moved over two days to relieve the stress of moving out of our old house and into a new house all in the same day which was a brilliant idea and was worth every penny. We’d not heard of them before and they were one of three companies who gave us a quote and we definitely chose the right one for us and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a removal company.

Tonks have moved me twice in the last 5 years, most recently today! They will always be my first choice of removals firm. Three lovely chaps for whom nothing was too much trouble. As well as the normal paraphernalia of a family home, they took particular care of my much loved piano, as well as a large and very heavy pedal organ! Totally professional from start to finish and excellent organisation as well. My move was at short notice, and Becky in the office was the model of efficiency. A1 Service in every way! 🙂
