This must be at least 5 working days after you've completed your course of the vaccine. We expect the letter to take up to 7 working days to reach you. VISITING THE SURGERY - when visiting the surgery as either a patient or visitor please ensure you maintain social distancing (unless procedure being performed on you e.g bloods) at all times.

If you have a mask please make sure you bring it with you. Do not arrive early for your appointment - if you are here early you will be asked to wait in your car until the time of your appointment. Please pay attention to signage about entrances and exits, as well as policies in place.
Services
Your appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work. Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient. You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months.
Storing information in one place makes it easier for healthcare staff to treat you in an emergency, or when your GP practice is closed. This information could make a difference to how a doctor decides to care for you, for example which medicines they choose to prescribe for you. No, it is not compulsory.
Having an ill child can be a very scary experience for parents. If you understand more about the illness it can help you to feel more in control. This booklet is for parents (and older children) and deals with common infections in children who are normally healthy. There is a good guide on the NHS website which describes various conditions affecting children.
This factsheet is for people who have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or who would like information about it. These links all come from trusted resources but if you are unsure about these or any other medical matters please contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice. Diabetes is a long-term (chronic) condition caused by too much glucose (sugar) in the blood.

Very bad. I was told that I would be called back for a telephone appointment by a doctor. I waited all afternoon and then eventually called the surgery at 4.15pm to see if he would be much longer. The receptionist told me I wasn't on his list for a call. I was very annoyed because I had waited patiently since 8.20am that morning for this call. I managed to suppress my anger and politely asked if he could call me tomorrow. She abruptly said that I would have to go through the whole calling at 8am process again to schedule an appointment for a call. Why could they not just schedule me for a call

Disgraceful,
I've tried for four days for at least twenty five minutes at a time, to make contact with the reception but not for the as first time, this week has in previous weeks no reply ! not the first time I've had issues with . ..the surgery. They want patients to be kind and respectful yet they show little to the patient by this current system they are running???...Wargrave house really needs to overhaul surgery and how it's being run.??

One star because I can't do zero.
There is no point in the existence of the GP service at this place.
Sadly there is no alternative other than to telephone 111.
You should be ashamed of yourself taking good money from the NHS.

My first and only experience with the surgery since moving to the area in February 2021, was not a good one. I called explaining my symptoms and referring the surgery to my notes, as I had suffered from the condition previously. I took in a sample on the Thursday, which should have been very easy to test at the surgery and issue antibiotics on the Friday. Instead, my sample was sent to the lab and I was left the entire weekend with no antibiotics and a high risk of the condition spreading to my kidneys, which happened the previous time and would have caused me excruciating pain, leaving me unable

Home of a particularly headstrong female doctor seemingly more concerned with defending petty restrictions rather than dealing with patients sympathetically and compassionately. Otherwise friendly surgery.
