Saxons Motorhome Rental are a family owned rental company part of a the large UK rental chain Practical Car and Van Rental. We started car and van hire in1998 in Biggin Hill Kent on the London surrey borders and have slowly increased our car and van hire fleet to over one hundred and forty rental vehicles, in 2017 we added Saxons Trailers to our growing business doing Rentals, Servicing, Sales and parts.

Services
Yes, we can allow 1 car parking space per hire in our secure yard but we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage whilst it is parked. Your Motorhome will be made ready for the time agreed and we will have a member of staff booked to carry out your Motorhome handover.
If its your first time with a motorhome we would like to spend at least an hour with you running through the fittings, so you feel comfortable and if you feel you need longer that won't be a problem.At London Heathrow airport and London Gatwick airport we can even carry out the full handover closet to the airport so there is no long transfer back to our main motorhome site this saves you time on your holiday.

They are all built by Trigano with the brand names Rollerteam and Zefiro, all our motorhomes are suitable for standard car licences. With all motorhomes there is a good sized washroom with shower, kitchenette with sink, fridge/freezer, hob grill and oven, hot and cold water and heating.
The 2/4 berth is a fantastic motorhome to rent for a couple, offering a low level fixed rear Fixed bed and a dinette that can become an additional double bed, it is fitted with 4 seat belts for travelling.Our optional meet & greet service allows you to collect & return your motorhome at one of several Airports & Train Stations for your convienience.

Our new 2/4 berth Zefiro is very special indeed. The fabulous interior features a luxury fixed bed and mattress with a level of comfort you'd love to have at home. For ultimate luxury, the Zefiro 696 includes an island bed towards the rear with bed side tables, providing that hotel feeling. This 4 berth motorhome includes a drop down bed which is quick and easy to assemble, and easy to stow away during the day.
The six berth Zefiro 675 Motorhomes are the perfect family motorhome. The layout consists of two fixed rear bunk-beds, large over-cab bed, dinette/bed conversion and a good sized washroom with shower. Brightest and best among motorhomes, the Zefiros step out of line to offer specification, comfort and convenience that separate them from the crowd.
Continental air, but UK by design! Based on the Fiat Ducato 3500, 130hp, manual chassis as standard (engine upgrades and automatic are cost options), this model boasts a spacious 6ft rear u-shaped lounge for 5. The lounge is ideal for relaxing after a busy day and can easily convert in the evenings into either two singles or a large double bed.

Our first time hiring and so easy to book, seemless easy service, answered all our questions. Mark and Lisa are superb, very organised and the motorhome was perfect, very clean, so much better than we were expecting in terms of comfort and ride. It was the first time we had hired a motorhome. Lisa and Mark were so helpful. The motorhome itself was stunning and not too difficult to drive. The interior was immaculate and everything worked perfectly.… Whenever I needed to ask any questions either Lisa or Mark got back to me immediately. I can’t recommend this company highly enough. We hired our Campavan over new year for the first time her name was Sarah and I can’t tell people enough how amazing this company was from the minute we picked it up they couldn’t do enough for us the Campavan was immaculate and had everything we needed we had the best week in Sarah and can’t wait to book again this year if you are thinking of booking one don’t hesitate it was the best experience ever for me my husband and my two young boys.

We hired “Jackie” for a week last week. It was out first time in a Motorhome and we travelled around Devon and Cornwall. The service we received from Lisa and Mark was excellent. The Motorhome was in excellent condition. The video handover was brilliant as we could refer back to it when needed while out on the road. Thanks Lisa and Mark. Look forward to the next time

We hired Betty for our Holiday. Betty was very clean and Tidy, very luxurious holiday accommodation. Lisa and Mark were very helpful in resolving minor problems we had with the heating system. This just involved swapping the gas bottle and resetting the boiler, nothing wrong with the van itself. On a personal level I found driving in general relatively easy but reversing such a large vehicle very difficult and don't think I'd want to drive one again. That being said, if you are used to driving a large van, it would not be a problem.

This was our first time hiring a motorhome and the experience was brilliant.
From the initial enquiry with Lisa through to checking in with Lisa and Mark and checking out with Tyler and Lisa, everything was very well organised.
I would have no hesitation recommending. They only suggestion I would have is to open a loyalty club because once you’ve hired you’ll definitely be back again!

I've never rented a motorhome or camper van before but Mark and his team made it very easy. We rented a 4/6 berth camper van for the weekend in September 2014. Having read poor reviews about other rental companies around London, I chose these guys and I'm glad I did. Great vehicle in good condition but best of all, a friendly welcome - you can tell it's a family firm. The deposit was returned in full very quickly and there were no 'hidden extras' which seem common amongst some of the other rental companies around. No hesitation in giving these guys 5 stars - will certainly return next time we want
