Through our partnerships with Regional Area Teams, we provide dental care and oral health advice that are necessary to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy. We aim to provide preventative dentistry to help you avoid extensive dental treatments. The NHS tells us how we must charge you for NHS dental services and the amount you pay depends on the treatments you need.
We welcome referrals for your patients who may need additional complex treatments that can be provided by one of our Specialists or dentists with additional skills so that they can have the best possible care for treatments planned by you.
Treatments may range from a root filling or extraction of a tooth to more complex implant placement and restoration, but whatever their treatment plan entails you can be assured that you patient will have the best possible care and we will communicate their patient journey with you throughout.

I had an extraction of my tooth (UR6) on October 12, 2021 , but fragments of the tooth roots were retained in the gum. I was referred to Sands House Dental Practice for the removal of these fragments. I live in Reading and for health reasons and the Covid crisis, I was pondering if I should make the long journey on public transport.
I rang up and discussed with Rabia, the Treatment Co-ordinator of Sands House Dental Practice, about my predicament. Rabia is extremely patient, helpful , friendly and pleasant in her attitude, and very knowledgeable and professional in replying to my queries and options

Wouldn't recommend at all, finally got through after 2 days of constantly calling, told them my son is in pain with an abcess she said you need to call back tomorrow at 8.30am I said i ccan't I work in a school and will be with my class children at that time so which the receptionist may have well of said oh well...I used to be a dental receptionist years ago and would have done anything for our practice patients. This place is a joke I'm looking for a new practice for me and my family. Disgusting service here.

Would not recommend to anyone to use this practice!
I had a check up and was given a treatment to protect my teeth. The treatment came off that exact day, a few hours after I was seen. I was told it should last until I will be seen for the fillings. I made an appointment for the fillings and was asked to pay over £300 upfront. My appointment was then cancelled several times and was eventually given a date in September - initial appointment was on 9th of June. Decided to ask for a refund and try to find another dentist. I have requested a refund on 26.07.21, I was told it will take 5 days to process

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST! As you can see from the many reviews below about the receptionist she is very very rude and has the worst attitude ever. She doesn't seem to care about the customer and talks down to them in a rude manor and also lies about their conversations when she actually decides to pick up the phone. The actual surgery is dirty and in terrible condition with very old equipment. Be warned the manager and other staff members do not seem to care about how rude the receptionist is and they should be reported for their hygiene and complete disregard for customer service.

I would not recommend this dentist I have moved my family away from here due to how rude the staff are and unprofessional behaviour I have seen from the reception lady recently. The surgery is falling apart and not very clean so no longer feel comfortable using them. There are many other dentists in the area with pleasant reception staff who actually pick up the phone and are not aggressive when speaking to them.

I trust the staff here. Inna is my dentist and she's caring, conscientious, sympathetic and friendly. The reception staff are also lovely...they have to deal with a lot of people that are rude and disrespectful and naturally they put up defences! I never have a problem and I want you to know wouldn't go anywhere else. My only gripe is that parents of children that go to school down the road use the patient parking for convenience and it's difficult to get through first thing. Apart from that totally satisfied.

Absolutely appalling service at reception. Would give zero stars if I could. Can’t believe the management of the practice haven’t done something about the ladies who work in this area, despite the number of poor reviews it seems they have had! They are completely incompetent, lazy, don’t answer the phone despite numerous attempts on numerous days, citing they are busy. Being a manager of another business with 40 workers, I have watched these ladies in reception work while I have been waiting for an appointment and it appears they seem to selectively greet incoming clients based on dare I

I am really disappointed with sands dental clinic .. they seem to look at customers and choose who to treat and who to ignore ..the receptionists are not very helpful and when I phone either they don’t pick up phone or Hang up.. if they answer phone they always rude ..one except one receptionist I think her name is Deborah but not sure . She tries ..to help & does her best , the other receptionists should not be working there if they can’t do their job..I was a patient their service and customer communication is terrible & rock bottom ..
