About Us Report

To be a 'complete solution' for the supply, installation and maintenance of car audio and car electronic products. We professionally satisfy the demands of our customers with exceptional service. Our new premises offer a walk-in demonstration area and waiting areas for while work is completed.

Our sales team are able to offer advice and demonstrations for stereos, satellite navigation, bluetooth hands-free kits, reversing aids, vehicle cctv and vehicle tracking.In 1998 we added CCTV and Access Control to expand our original specialist skills in Vehicle Electronic equipment. History Report

Base Systems was established in 1968 and has been a family run car audio business ever since. The first shop opened at Greenbank Street, Preston with two brothers Joe (pictured above) & Bob. In 1978 we moved to Fylde Road where we had 39 years of trading. In 1983 the premises next door was purchased to increase the shop size.

Staff Report

Owner and Managing Director of the company, Alan has years of experience of business management and has been the driving force behind the team and its success for decades! Dave joined in 1998 and as part of the family business, has enjoyed taking his part in developing and navigating the company through it's technological changes over the past twenty something years!

Excellent company to deal with. Just had a new head unit fitted to my VW T5. Communication from first contact through to finish was second to none. Really pleased with the unit and the quality of workmanship in fitting it and the extra USB points I wanted. Highly recommend Base Systems.

Had heard of this company through word of mouth and can honestly say it has been an excellent experience in getting a reversing camera fitted.
Had a very friendly reply from Laurence understanding what work I would like completed and was booked in quickly. Sorted out a few other problems on my car for free which was very unexpected and kind.
Install of the camera is very clean with no cables or wires visible at all and appears on my head-unit when I select reverse.
Will be going back for some more work next week!
