The following section is designed to give you an indication as to what items are tested during an MOT and how this is done. The list is only a brief summary of the actual procedures used and not all items apply to all cars. Also it should be noted that dis-assembly of any part of the vehicle is not allowed during an MOT test which means that hidden items such as faulty wheel cylinders cannot be seen or failed.
As part of the MOT test your vehicle will be checked for smoke emissions. This helps the environment by minimising pollution and testing the fuel efficiency of your vehicle. It also helps you by checking that the engine is working correctly and reduces wasted fuel. The test has been developed so that it should not damage your engine.

Stuck behind one of these coaches today. Not only did it go incredibly slow but it braked or stopped every time something was coming the other way. Had a huge amount of traffic queued behind it, one car managed to overtake but the rest of us were stuck behind this driver and added well over half an hour to everyone's journey. Driving like this they should never have been behind the wheel if a coach. 600 RT reg no.

Add to the comments already ,just nearly been wiped off the road whilst crossing,aggressive driver going in excess of the speed limit (30 mph) decided to speed up move towards the kerb area and sound the horn ,followed by mad hand signals...all totally unnecessary behaviour ,tell your drivers to calm themselves please

Had a fantastic trip to London 1st December the driver the best ever so helpful and obliging we had difficulty finding coach our fault couldn't remember exactly where dropped off but we were lucky to find it 5 minutes late for departure we finally found bus the driver was just pleased that we arrived back safe what a lovely man he was we were so relieved we were on the bus on our way home thank you so much johnsons will defiantly recommend to my friends marvellous service

Our church the LDS church from Berry Hill Mansfield booked one of your coaches to take us to the Temple at Chorley Lancs from Mansfield. When we got on the coach the driver greeted each person with a smile and said 'Good morning'. He was a pleasant and polite person and an excellent driver. On the journey back home He helped some of the coach people get a lady on-board who had had a serious back spasm. He was like the 'Good Samaritan who helped this lady to get seated with as little pain as possible. She thanked him. She was on pain management but did not have her morphine tablets with her. Where
