Old Mill Antiques Centre
Bridgnorth itself is a pictureseque and historic market town that has its origins in the 12th Century. The town is divided into High Town and Low Town - High Town being set on a sandstone ridge one hundred feet above the river, with Low Town situated alongside the river and the two are connected not only by main traffic routes, but also by several strategically placed flights of steps and an historic funicular railway.

The building that houses the Old Mill Antiques Centre is substantial and is a listed building. Used previously as The Ridley Seed Company premises and seed mill, The Old Mill is fronted by a 16th Century Gentleman's Town House. The Centre has recently been extensively refurbished to a very high standard and has approximately 40 antiques dealers over four floors.

I can spend hours browsing the 4 floors of this wonderful antique centre. Fortunately there is a superb tea room on the second floor, where you can take a break, take a stock of everything you've seen and decide if you're going back for a second look. Believe me, there is something for everyone.

Fantastic place to visit, spread over 4 floors. There is also a cafe, which we availed ourselves of, and our meal was superb. There is adequate parking for visitors within the immediate area of the centre. We'll worth a visit.

Always love browsing around this antiques centre. There's something for everyone whether you have lots to spend or just a few pounds.
My friend and I had gone there to also have some lunch and were disappointed that it was closed on Monday and Tuesday's. That isn't a criticism as footfall can be slow at the beginning of the week but that's why we only gave it 4 stars.

Great if you love searching through lots of antiques and old items to find a hidden gem. Spread over 4 floors there is something for everyone. The cafe is very nice and serves a wide range of cakes and teas. They can be booked for special Mad Hatters afternoon teas also.
