Graphic Design is the process of visual communication. This can take the form of virtual artwork and also the physical - graphic designers are involved in so many advertising, branding and marketing processes across the world ranging from the logo design of your favourite brand of trainers to the artwork on the latest magazine cover gracing the shelves of stores across the world.
Here at Lime we start by listening to your ideas and the 'why?' for the project. We advise on the possible strategies that could work to reach your audience, then determine the correct message and design impact to go forward. Part of our process is to research your competition and understand their marketing approach.
What is branding? Branding is how existing and potential customers perceive your company, including the overall customer experience. A crucial part of creating a business plan, is creating a plan for your branding. You want to establish exactly the type of experience you want your customers to have with your company.
Everything to do with Packaging has to be impactful. This is the first communication to the customer, so it has to leap off the shelf. The design has to be eye-catching and not mold with the competition surrounding it. It has to immediately grab the attention of the customer, how you want your product to be perceived is therefore crucial.
