Little Rainbow Nursery

At Little Rainbow, children are our focus. We aim to provide good quality care within a happy and loving environment as well as well as recognise the development and aim to promote all areas of their physical, intellectual, language, social and emotional skills through a variety of activities, whilst recognising and respecting a child's individual needs.

All children have the right to the highest quality care and education whatever their gender, ethnicity, religion, or ability. Little Rainbow Nursery recognises the right of each child including those with inclusive needs. Our primary goal is to maintain a calm and caring environment that supports the development of good social skills, grace and courtesy which in turn gives rise to an atmosphere that, is conducive to learning.

All our practitioners are provided with a clearly defined set of objectives designed to guide their practice to meet the outcomes of the EYFS. Personal, Social & Emotional Development in which children begin to understand how to care for themselves, treat others and conduct themselves. Expressive Arts & Design which includes the use of media and material, developing imaginative skills.

Little Rainbow Nursery plan and deliver a range of activities to meet the needs of all children. The children are free to choose from the variety of play equipment that is available to them or partake in adult led activities each day for the variety of age ranges within the wrap-around care.

Although we are not expected to follow the EYFS guidelines we agree with its importance and therefore aim to provide activities that cover all areas of the EYFS learning objectives and the curriculum.We provide healthy nutritional and delicious breakfast and teatime options at every session. We also offer physical outdoor activities for children to support the wellbeing of each individual child's physical development in the club.
