Last year we won the contract to remodel Crawter's Brook, Manor Royal in Crawley which required the planting of mature trees and some major landscaping. Over the past few months, we have designed and built a variety of exciting and transforming projects of varying sizes, working closely with our clients to deliver their aspirations.
Prolonging the life of a tree when possible rather than opting for removal is a key part of our ethos, although tree care is important for safety and increasingly due to liability. We're a landscaping and arboricultural company who specialises in the planting of semi-mature trees. The landscaping team have over 15 years experience of working with many customers, designers and landscape architects.

In 2012 we won the softworks contract for the Crawter's Brook Park, at Manor Royal in Crawley which required the planting of semi-mature trees and associated landscaping and this year we worked on the Pocket Park corner of the A23. This was an fascinating project designed by Sion Thaysen who had reserved the trees at Hilliers Nursery.
We have been lucky enough to have worked on numerous and varied projects over the years. An unusual job for us last year was the building of a garden which included a driveway with an automated turntable. This enabled the owners to spin their car round by pressing a button on their key ring, thus avoiding some tricky manoeuvring in a tight area; a clever solution which is growing in popularity.
We work closely with our clients to source the stone they like, be it for steps, a terrace or paving. This summer we sourced and laid the stone for 12 beautiful curved steps in a large garden. They were made using radial Yorkstone riven treads which were complemented by locally quarried Wealden sandstone risers and were interspersed with planting.
I have spent 15 years working in many gardens and with plants of all kinds. I have learnt the art of grafting trees, maintained and designed perennial borders and restored an old Rhododendron garden. Plants are fantastic and there seems to be an endless amount of new varieties to discover. We can fill your garden with flowers and trees of all kinds and colours for all year round enjoyment.
We use locally milled green oak to make arbours, balconies and pergolas. All the joints are carefully hand cut and we use oak pegs or 'treenails'. This is a very beautiful and hard wearing material and as a natural product, it moves and changes colour as it ages. We can often build these structures around or under existing plants.
