Services
Metcalfe coaches have been providing both local schools and Cumbria County Council with coaches since the very beginning. All our drivers are fully CRB cleared and all coaches display the necessary signage when transporting children. We currently provide transport to several local schools for their trips and enjoy a very good relationship with them all.
We Hired a mini bus services from Metcalfe for our special trip to Lake District. The services and the interactions that we had with Chris during this trip was highly impressive. The Carlisle and District Rambling and Fell Walking Club have been using the services of Metcalfe coaches for well over a year on a regular basis both for regular walks, generally twice a month, and also for special outings.

A huge thanks to Chris at Metcalfe coaches Ltd for stepping in out-of-hours when the coach carrying our primary school group of 39 children and 5 staff broke down at Southwaite Services leaving us stranded for several hours. Having made a number of fruitless calls, it was so reassuring to have Chris take control, organising a coach and driver (the… lovely Nigel) to pick up our luggage and complete the journey to Manchester. We cannot thank Chris enough for the attentive and continued contact throughout the evening, and have no hesitation recommending this excellent company. We wish Metcalfes

Yesterday Saturday 26th September was the second time we have used Metcalfe Coaches for theatre trip to Blackpool we hade two drives youngish driver in morning picking up on both occasions then we had the lovely pleasure of having Tracey take over for the main journey down to Blackpool and bring use back seem to always be forward thinking
