Services
At the age of fourteen I had a wonderful opportunity to complete work experience in a dog grooming salon. This sparked my professional career as I was offered a part-time role which progressed to full time when I finished school. Over the next ten years I worked in two different salons gaining hands on experience, I realised that I wanted to take my passion even further.
We offer numerous dog grooming services at Smarty Paws, but we are usually guided by the dog and their owner. The breed of dog and the time since their last groom will dictate the type of treatment that we provide. Our preferred approach is to create a treatment that is customised around your dog's specific needs.
Few new dog owners understand the grooming needs of a dog and the benefits to both the dog and the owner of regular grooming sessions. Dogs are pack animals and in the wild they would groom each other regularly to help maintain the health of their coat. Domestic dogs although no longer in a pack environment still need to be groomed on a regular basis.
Your wedding day will be one of the best days of your life and Smarty Wedding Paws can offer you a wedding day chaperone service for your dog. I phoned for an appointment and was amazingly given one the next day. Leo needed a full cut but we didn't know how we wanted him to look. They listened to what we didn't want and we left them to it. OMG when… we collected Leo he looked Amazing!! I don't know how they managed to get through all that hair and make him look like that. He obviously loves it too. Fantastic experience from start to finish and I can't recommend them enough ❤

I’ve recently had my two dogs attend , one is an absolute saint of a dog but the other is a puppy who’s been a lockdown puppy with no interaction, my eldest dog looks absolutely amazing I’ve never seen her so well groomed 🥰, and my puppy smells amazing too , he’s so anxious that not even Barbara wood house would sort him , but the staff still… washed him and decided not to groom him at his best interest 👏 they are so considerate and have the dogs well being a first before beauty .. can’t wait to return bea for her next groom . Keep up the good
