We are in the country yet only 6 miles from the City of Edinburgh. You can get to our kennels from the Sheriff Hall roundabout on the City Bypass. Proceed South on the A7, at the third roundabout turn right on to the A9064 and continue through Bonnyrigg and take the second turning at the roundabout towards Rosewell.

Services
Dogs are in individual exercise runs where, weather permitting, they spend most of the day. For safety reasons the dogs are not taken outside the security of the kennel grounds. We also have grass paddocks fully fenced where members of staff can often be seen playing with the dogs in our care. Larger dogs are kept separate from the smaller ones so that the smaller dogs feel less intimidated.
All our cat pens are outdoors, situated in garden areas where bird life is prominent, giving the cats something to keep an eye on. We have a range of different types of enclosure which all consist of an indoor area where all cats are given a heated bed and blankets along with food and water. In the outdoor area a litter tray is provided along with a small shelf for them to sit on and sometimes sunbathe when the weather allows it.
Kennel cough (Bordetella) is a very common and highly contagious upper respiratory tract infection affecting dogs (and occasionally cats). It is most prevalent in the summer months and is very easily passed on when large groups of dogs share a mixed air space, in particular at boarding kennels. Kennel cough causes a sore throat and cough which in most dogs is self-limiting and will resolve without treatment.
