Services
We set our own prices on our own website and also work with several reputable agencies. Those companies are large, and they have computer controlled algorithims which change their customer prices almost daily- whereas we are a family business with a blunt pencil! Frankly we cannot keep up with their ups and downs!
Not everyone writes in our books ( and they were plastic wrapped during the pandemic which meant many did not ) - but some people do write by hand in the visitor books in each cottage ( sometimes even signed by the pets! ) Sometimes people forget to write in the book and e mail us later. We faithfully copy these comments as they come in and we upload them here.
We are often mentioned in the press - we cant possibly list all those mentions here. We are also used as a filming location quite often- its the view that does it! We were chosen for a GMTV film crew base and 4 dieters who stayed with us for an entire week whilst doing an amazing amount of tough exercise and a severe diet regime.
Each year we have a number of business visitors who invariably say they wish they had stayed with us before! Whether you are a visitor working with one of our local companies or on a sales trip working from our "home" we can offer a comfortable base for you and one or more colleagues each with your own bedroom.
When you stay at Monmouthshire Cottages we can offer you all of that, plus some suggestions to help you unwind in your own way. We have both a a fully qualified beauty therapist and an experienced hairdresser who can come to your cottage by appointment. From a blow dry to a manicure, reiki to sports massage they can relax and refresh you.
