All our dentists adhere to the rules governing the profession under strict guidance from the General Dental Council (GDC) "Standards for Dental Professionals". Pooja graduated from the University of Manchester and since went onto practice in East London. Being committed to continuous learning she attained her postgraduate qualification of the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Faculty by the Royal College of Surgeons.
Car Parking - there is a large, free car park adjacent to the practice which is shared with the supermarket. Practice Nurses & Receptionists - They deal with your enquiries and arrange appointments. All have received appropriate training and the advice given by them is strictly in accordance with guidelines laid down by the principals.
Southwood Dental Centre is well situated within Southwood Village Centre and was opened in 1989. It is situated on the ground floor and is suitable for the disabled. In equipping the practice we have employed up to date methods of centralised equipment sterilisation and x-ray areas and modern surgery equipment.
The Mouth Cancer Foundation is a registered charity that raises awareness of mouth cancers and proviedes information and support to patients, carers and health professionals. It's not easy. Clear Aligners are a series of clear positioning trays, which gently guide your teeth from their present to the desired aesthetic and functional position. Clear Aligners exert gentle pressure upon the tooth/teeth in the direction in which you'd like them to move. Clear Aligners are not visible, are wire free and do away with the need to bond braces onto the teeth.

I today visited Southwood Dental Centre for a hygienist appointment. Sofia was charming. Explained everything clearly and demonstrated how I need to clean my teeth properly. She was very caring and considerate which I appreciated as I am nervous of dentists due to a childhood experience which was not pleasant. I will be returning. Very satisfied.

We are not local to the area, however upon regularly visiting the surgery for my daughter to see the orthodontist, we have always had good service and the staff are all friendly and welcoming which has been very reassuring. Over the last few appointments we have seen significant improvement with her teeth and have been amazed at how well they have all come into place and straightened. My youngest daughter is just starting to see the orthodontist too. We highly recommend.

I have used this surgery for years and have always had fantastic service/treatment here. The team are absolutely brilliant and the dentists/nurses have always treated me so well and really do look after you. Like a lot of people I have a slight fear of the dentist but the staff here do so much to make you feel at ease and make the experience so much easier. Well done !
