You know that, thanks to the EYFS Framework and Ofsted reports, your child is getting the best possible support with their learning and development when they come to a setting like All Saints. But, as a parent or carer, can you help with your child's learning at home?
All the fun activities that you do with your child at home are important in supporting their learning and development, and have a really long lasting effect on your child's learning as they progress through school.Even when your child is very young and is not yet able to talk, talking to them helps them to learn and understand new words and ideas.

If you would like to train to be in childcare you can ask about doing your placement with us. Have you considered volunteering within the Pre-School? If you have a skill or passion you think the children would benefit from please don't be afraid to share it with us. We would love to have you within the setting.
Our Pre-school is part of a registered charity, which is managed by a committee of volunteers accountable to Hillside Church, Parochial Church Council (PCC). The Management Committee oversees the overall strategy and development of the Pre-school, helps to develop Pre-school policies, and manages our finances and fundraising.
ESPS follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework 2014 (updated in 2017), which sets the standards that all early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.
The EYFS Framework sets out legal welfare requirements, 7 areas of learning and development which guide a provider's planning of your child's play and activities, assessments of your child's progress and expected levels or Early Learning Goals that your child should reach at age 5.
