At Tyneside Express all of our fleet are tracked using up-to-date, fully integrated telematics software that provides us with live coverage and gives our traffic desk the information they need to make sure all of our customers requirements are met. All of our trucks are maintained to a high standard with regular servicing and fleet inspections to ensure we provide you with a professional reliable service.
Tyneside Express Transport is a leading member of THE Pallet Network, the UK's leading network for palletised freight distribution. With more than 100 Members and over 120 sites throughout the UK, we offer excellent service levels for next-day, timed or economy deliveries for any palletised goods. We handle full, half or quarter pallet sizes, and you can see the dimensions on the images (right).
We have over 30,000 sq ft of space available for storage available on a short tem or long term basis. Our warehousing facility comes with full forklift handling services to help you access your goods quick and easily. We have 24 hour CCTV surveillance throughout our premises to give you complete peace of mind whilst storing your goods at our facility.
Duties will include routing and scheduling loads, working as part of a team liaising with drivers and customers, sourcing backloads and ensuring the smooth, cost effective running of fleet vehicles. It is essential that applicants have a good geographical knowledge and understand all road transport legislation.
