Providing a comprehensive legal service to businesses and individuals throughout West Wales and beyond. We are a firm of solicitors based in South West Wales with offices in St Clears, Carmarthen, Tenby and Cardigan. We offer a friendly, approachable and client focused service, where the needs and requirements of our clients are paramount.

Offering legal services and advice to a mixture of private individuals and business clients, we pride ourselves on identifying the needs of our clients and tailoring our services accordingly. Due to the size of our practice, we have solicitors who specialise in various areas of the law.
Services
Different solicitors handle the different categories of work in which they specialise. The solicitors have the support of experienced staff to assist them in the efficient conduct of their work. You will be notified at the outset of the matter of the name of the person who is responsible for your matter, and of those persons assisting.
If we arrange for Court proceedings to be issued and if the Claim is not contested we will automatically enter Judgement and thereafter discuss with you the best method of enforcing that Judgement.

If we are successful in recovering all or part of the debt by the enforcement action our charges will be the amount of the legal charges included within the Judgement together with any late payment compensation recovered, (plus VAT which you will have to pay).If we are unsuccessful in recovering payment our charges will be in the region of 100.00 plus VAT.
Whatever the nature of the dispute we always seek to pursue the same vigorously and in the interests of our client. We aim to bring matters to a satisfactory conclusion as soon as possible. However, it might be more appropriate for negotiations to be held to seek to settle matters. Bringing a Court action might not be the best for our clients.
Our Solicitors appear in local Magistrates Courts. We do not deal with general criminal matters and do not offer a legal aid service. However, we do represent clients in relation to motoring and less serious offences. The Magistrates Court deals with proceedings brought by the Local Authorities for breaches of food licensing, general operational licences, noise abatement applications etc., and we frequently represent clients in such matters.
Lewis Lewis and Company has achieved membership of the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme. This means that the Practice has met the required standards of the Law Society. Membership of the CQS ensures that we are able to act for all of the High Street Lenders as it is generally a pre condition for any firm dealing with a mortgage to have CQS accreditation.
