Absolutely delighted with the work by Lizzy on 2 fireside chairs and 2 drop is seats for dining chairs. The fireside chairs had been made by my grandfather for my parents’ wedding in 1948 and so have much family history and sentimental value but they were looking quite shabby after so many years. Lizzy took then and transformed them as can be seen. The frames were repaired and re-polished and the upholstery completely replaced, they now look fantastic and have been admired by family members.
Lizzy’s attention to detail really shows in the way the fabrics have been matched. Lizzy clearly loves

Well what can we say other than we are absolutely delighted with the two chairs Lizzy has worked on for us. They have been completely rejuvenated and look fabulous. We picked a really awkward tartan and the way Lizzy has matched and lined it up is exceptional work. We could not recommend Lizzy more highly.

Lizzy has just brought back to me a re-upholstered chair I got at a local sale. It is an eighteenth-century mahogany Gainsborough armchair, which was originally covered with hideous, tapestry-style 1920s fabric. Although I was initially pleased to bid successfully for it, my heart sank when I thought what was needed to make it even half respectable. But a mutual friend put me in touch with Lizzy and we talked through its proposed rehabilitation. I sourced a William Morris willow bough fabric and left it to her to decide on its re-upholstering. Three weeks later, and after dealing with an infestation
