Proplas is owned and operated by Phil Mooney, a GRP fibreglass flat roof construction specialist, who has been in the industry for over 30 years. GRP, or glass reinforced plastic, is also known as fibreglass and provides an incredibly strong, durable and cost effective roofing system. We have bases near London in the South and Manchester in the North of England and have happy clients UK wide.
GRP stands for Glass Reinforced Plastic, more commonly known as Fibreglass- a highly resilient and long-lasting material used in many sectors of industry including roofing for balconies, extensions, orangeries, garages, and flat roofs throughout the UK. It was initially used for boat building because of its strength, waterproof properties and the fact it does not corrode in water.
You have a lot of options when it comes to your balcony or flat roof - felt, rubber and other membranes are widely used in both commercial and domestic buildings.
