R J M Classic Motorcycle Services
Designed as a Classic Cafe Racer with more than a hint of modern sports bike/modern retro, it demonstrates the versatility of the original platform. This arguably better than new restoration of a late T140 which was in a very tired condition when it first arrived was completed in late 2016. Completed under our Pay-As-You-Go scheme, it perfectly illustrates the extremes of flexibility of the scheme.

For discerning owners looking for a state of the art restoration with modest monthly funding available a project of this kind can be completed as this one was, over a ten year period. Our take on the Bullet Cafe Racer. With more than a bit of inspiration and vital parts from national Royal Enfield specialist Hitchcock's Motorcycles.
Services
High quality, durable restoration, or major repairs for classic motorcycles is not an inexpensive activity and it is an activity notoriously difficult to put a price on. Its key feature is safeguarding against run-away bills and nasty surprises and provides restorations and major repairs completed to your time scale and budget.
You could be forgiven for thinking that with my modest labour rates, repairing classic motorcycles is inexpensive but, for the most part you would be wrong. You might also imagine that having been in the industry as long as I have, that I have seen it all, and can give you a price down to the last shilling of every repair that comes my way.
We pride ourselves that our charge-out rates are amongst the lowest in the industry whilst producing a quality of workmanship that is equal to the best. We also take great pride in our premises and equipment as well as our level of organisation. We hope that equals a great customer experience. We do have the advantage that we own the freehold of our commercial property and therefore not subject to constant rent hikes.
TERMS OF BUSINESS: All parts and work to machines will be paid for in full before release. Any machines not collected after 1 month from completion will attract storage charges. All new parts and repair work will be warranted for three months from date of invoice regardless of mileage. Payments may be made by most major credit cards, bankers drafts, building society cheques and cash.
I am pleased now to report on the results of our 2006/07 priority, which was to finally find the time and finance to put a big twin back on the road for my personal use and, more importantly get some serious use out of it.

Whilst the primary objective was fun, the more serious side was to re-acquaint myself with the process of living with a newly restored machine for the first few thousand miles, first hand, in order to be able to better serve and advise clients with their machines. As with any of my own projects, I can't resist improving the brew to some extent and was delighted to acquire a long abandoned and very down at heel '67 A65 Thunderbolt.

Friendly and (more importantly) top quality service. Always advised on best course of action and provide peace of mind with any questions I may have. Wouldn't consider anywhere else.
