We are currently undergoing refurbishment but this will not affect your appointment or the care your dog receives. All work will be completed outside of normal working hours. We are a small team of dedicated and passionate groomers who love what we do. We are all dog lovers and dog owners and we will build a special bond with your pet to help him/her to feel more relaxed and happy when having a pampering session.
This really is the best place to take your dog to be groomed Before I started taking my Bichon Frise, Molly, here I'd tried many different places. I was never really happy with what they had done or did not feel happy to leave my dog there. Now after about 8 years of going to 'The Grooming Barn' I would not go any where else.

We have struggled with groomers in the past but first time going, we were so impressed with the cut, especially in areas where its not looked great before, because he struggles with people going near his jaw. We've been a few times now and continue to be really happy with their service! I love that they offer things like facials for dogs. Pre-warning though that the car park is chalky gravel so they'll immediately come out and get mucky paws so bring a blanket for the car

My own experience?
I brought my dog here a few years ago, as he was a rescue and never had him groomed before. Apparently my dog freaked out and broke their bath?? We received a phone call to come and get my dog ASAP, they left my dog soaking wet and it was winter! I was appalled! My friend also has had a bad experience with them recently and it’s left me gobsmacked. I don’t recommend at all, a sign of a difficult dog and they just give up. Unless your dog is easy to groom, I wouldn’t bother. There are a lot better places around.

Took my baby here for a bath and tidy up and she wont be going again didnt like how we was treated just full of young ladies who dont know what they are doing and come across as very unprofessional.
I got told when collecting that my dog was in season which is a joke as had to take her to the vets to get checked over the following day as she had one of her pads cut and she isnt in season at all as a whole not a nice experience they wouldnt be getting any stars but cant review with out it

Yesterday was my 4 month old puppy ALD debut at the grooming barn with Heidi. She immediately put him at ease and although we are not allowed in due to Covid I could tell that Archie enjoyed his puppy experience which consisted of a bath, dry, groom and tidy around his eyes. Thank you Heidi, this was fabulous and we have made a further appointment . All in all very professional, clean, a quality service and very good value.
