It all started with just one six-wheel tipper lorry back in 1972, which was parked, and repaired outside Andy Wislocki's house in Raynes Park. Pressure from neighbours and family soon necessitated a move to a proper yard, with a lock-up garage for storing tools, wheels, oil etc, in Toynbee Road, Wimbledon.
Andy started ABC in 1972 with just one lorry. He grew the company steadily over the past fifty years, gradually handing over the reins to the expert team now running it. He still keeps a watchful eye on things but tries not to interfere too much! Andy is also a trustee and administrator for a music education charity which he co-founded with his wife Pat.
