I fell in love with flowers when I was a child, making daisy chains and posies from the garden. Even our dog couldn't escape the flowers I regularly crowned her head with. In 2001, by then a qualified florist and of course rather a bit older, I saw this little shop perched on Houghton Bridge, Amberley in West Sussex.
I instantly fell in love with it. Sitting proudly on the edge of the River Arun within this stunning, chocolate box English village my business blossomed. You have probably guessed by now how the name Amberlillys came about - Amberley the village where my little shop sat and lily which was and still is my favourite flower.
