McTimoney Chiropractic was pioneered by John McTimoney who was trained by a graduate of the original Palmer School of Chiropractic. He learned to apply swift, light force adjustments, which could aid in correctly aligning the spine and help restore normal function to the musculoskeletal system.

Along with his own beliefs of vitalism, the body's own self-healing abilities and the holistic approach; the McTimoney Chiropractic Technique was established. It is a whole body treatment with light force adjustments performed with speed, dexterity and accuracy.
Services
In my experience I find that, generally, people get better long term results, from consistent and continued care. Chiropractic care includes adjustments, soft tissue techniques/massage, posture and lifestyle advice and appropriate strengthening and stretching exercises.

With this in mind, you have the possibility of gaining immediate relief, followed by continued relief and a lifestyle change with maintenance of good posture, promoting health and improving performance. If you would prefer to pay for your treatments upfront I can offer a 6 treatment plan.
I am available Monday to Friday, often in to the evening. Should you need emergency care out-of-hours, please phone 07778703373 and I will do my best to talk to you or see you if necessary. Should you wish to discuss your chiropractic care with anyone other than myself, please do not hesitate to contact my colleague Deborah Cain on 01304 379598.
A full case history, including your general health and reason for the appointment, will be taken; along with a comprehensive examination and assessment of the neuro-musculoskeletal system, followed by a diagnosis and treatment plan which will be discussed and agreed upon. To adjust a bone, only my hands and a very fine tuned sense of touch combined with a swift, dextrous, light force technique is used.
It is not unusual to feel different after treatment, and it is a sign that your body is starting to change and adapt to the adjustments. Bear in mind you may feel achy, stiff, tired, headaches, emotional changes, dizzy, slight nausea or obviously you may just feel better. These reactions will subside as your body settles in to its new alignment.

Went in with pulsating shoulder, elbow and wrist pain after exercise; after treatment and rest the pains and pulsating never came back. Perfect for any climbers suffering similar issues (its a 1 minute walk away from Chimera) as well as anyone with back issues, I couldn't recommend Sarah more highly.
