From weddings to product photography in my studio in Tonbridge as well as offering family photo shoots in Kent and all over the UK and even overseas. I also shoot events, actor head shot's, commercial, sports you name it, and in fact wedding photography covers most situation all in one day and it only happens once so what better practice for everything else and everything else is good practice for weddings!
Here at Matt James Photography we don't only shoot the standard images, we also have some photo booths for use at weddings and events. We have for example ( a desktop photo kiosk) made to look like a well travelled flight case. It has a touch screen, a dye sub printer, and a Canon DSLR making it work so the picture quality is great.

The camera is a wonderful thing and to fully appreciate what it can do you have to shoot as many different situations as possible, from a cardboard box to a racing car, from a presentation to a landscape, the more you shoot the quicker you can adjust when shooting live situations. Matt is the best photographer in Kent! He was very friendly and understood exactly what I wanted. I was surprised with the way my family and I were welcomed when we got in his studio, he treated us like he had known us for a long time even though it was the very first time we were meeting him. The best part is that we loved all the pictures taken. I will definitely recommend ❤️❤️❤️

Matt is extremely professional and efficient. I emailed Matt to enquire about 'headshots' that my son needed. Instead of telling me that all info can be found on his website etc. he responded by listing his offers so I could choose from the info he had sent. He told me when he was available, a slot was chosen, the work got done as agreed - it all went like clockwork. The headshots are amazing. What more can I say! Brilliant.

I worked with Matt at a Wedding recently at The Bull Hotel in Wrotham. I was the Celebrant taking the wedding and Matt was photographing and videoing the event. There is limited space in the ceremony room at the Bull but Matt was so professional making sure I had space to conduct the ceremony whilst being aware of areas I needed to avoid. I think we made a great team - I hope you got some great shots Matt! 😎

Matt is an excellent photographer who produced a whole range of very high quality photographs of me. I had been apprehensive about having my photograph taken, but Matt laughed, joked and made the session fun. I relaxed into smiling and being able to sit less rigidly in a chair! We had the pleasure of meeting with Matt earlier this week for a pre wedding meeting / photoshoot. He was nothing but professional and fun and more importantly made us feel at ease and comfortable. There was no awkwardness and he captured some really natural images of us which he had edited beautifully and sent back to us within a great time frame. Matt was the photographer at our wedding last Saturday at Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells. We received our proofs today and are in total awe of his incredible work.
