Envirotyre UK Limited was formed in 2002. Our business is the collection and processing of scrap tyres, specifically the recycling of end-of-life tyres by turning them into bales for use in construction projects or as a fossil fuel replacement. Since we started trading customer service and legal compliance are the twin pillars on which we built our reputation.
We collect and recycle waste tyres cost effectively and reliably. If you are in the motor trade selling or servicing motor vehicles or a tyre retailer our service can make you more profitable and secure in the knowledge that your waste tyres are being recyled correctly. We offer daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly collection options for bulk tyre disposal.
We offer daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly collection options to farmers and their consortiums. In the 16 years that Envirotyre has been established, collecting and environmentally recycling all manner of tyres from the smallest wheelbarrow tyres, through the full range of car, van, 4x4, truck, tractor and industrial to the largest, giant earthmover tyre, rubber tracks have always proved too difficult to process - until now.
Every year the UK produces around 50 million scrap tyres. Also known as end of life tyres (ELTs) they represent a major challenge to the circular economy where waste is converted into a resource. Scrap tyres are recycled in two different ways; reuse and reprocessing. Envirotyre specialises in reuse.
End of life tyres are classified as controlled waste and are subject to specific environmental laws. If your business produces waste tyres or as an individual you have waste tyres to dispose of, by law you have a duty of care to ensure that their disposal complies with the Waste Duty of Care code of practice.
