I called in with my mum just as they were closing, but a very kind gentleman called Joel offered to stay late and take our details. I’m an 18 year old student moving to Dorchester to work in DCH (hospital) and it was proving extremely difficult to find suitable accommodation, especially since we currently live in Shropshire (5 hours’ drive away). My son Reuben Constantine and I had a really positive experience with Dickenson & Bowden and specifically with Joel, who went out of his way to be helpful to us when we were looking for a flat for Reuben who will soon be relocating to Dorchester. Dickinson Bowden really do set themselves apart from other estate agents I have dealt with.
From the moment we looked at the property, Mark really couldn't do enough for us.
It wasn't the most straight forward of purchases either, with my family and I moving from Birmingham and the vendors based in other countries.
But this didn't put Mark or Joel off. Whether it be chasing people in different timezones, probate lawyers, or the usual suspects (conveyancers etc), or just going that step extra to make my life easier whilst I was a 200 mile drive away.
Would recommend to anyone looking to sell

From the moment we asked to see the property all the way to exchange, we were helped quickly, advised and responded to at every query. I never had any problems speaking with Joel and he always returned my emails quickly.

We first contacted Dickinson Bowden about our new home and, because we were coming rather a distance to view, they wanted to be sure we knew about potential major issues, which was good. We knew there wasn't going to be something nasty to put us off when we got here.
