An ok curry house.
The food is adequate albeit a little pricey for what is offered. Service is somewhat ‘too’ immediate with dishes taken away as you eat!! In summary, there are better places to eat than here and I’d say , a fair view is’ try elsewhere.

The worst curry I've ever tasted if you can call it curry more like coloured water. I bought a chicken tikka Madras with pilla rice and a chicken curry with white rice with two nan breads. The chicken tikka had never seen tikka and the Madras curry wasn't spicy. The Pula rice wasn't ok pila rice. The only thing that was ok was the Nan breads. I tried to call them to complain but phone switched off. My advice is if anyone wants a curry in Cambridge definitely give this one a miss

Tikka masala was the best. Walked in thinking not many tables but taken to upstairs with another bar and lots of tables. Paratha was the best I ever had. I like creamy dishes so asked for single cream which wasn't a problem. Omg what can I say

DO NOT ORDER TAKEAWAY ON A SATURDAY NIGHT, Ordered at 7pm and takeaway did not arrive until 9.08pm when it said 1 hour delivery online. We waited over 2 hours!
When the man came we sent it back as we did not want it in the end.
He then offered us the curry for £20 instead of the original price of £45! We said we still did not want it and he would not leave until my husband came to the door.

We went on a Wednesday during the week so it was dead. As was Mill Road. We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly guy who asked one of us to sign the guestbook. We were shown to our table by him. There was a party of six of us. Poppadoms were ordered and came out to us very quickly. When we ordered the starters the beer was delivered to our table also. There was a sizeable pause before the starters came to us. We ate them fairly quickly. Then another pause until the main courses were delivered to our table. The service was very good and courteous. The bill for 6 of us came to about £107.

A hidden gem. Nothing to look at and quite easily passed. But.. step inside as the food is a delight. Some of the best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted at a restaurant. Always friendly and often busy. Every time I've eaten here I have been impressed.
