It is our pleasure to introduce you to the Lord Haldon Hotel, situated on the outskirts of the city of Exeter in acres of breathtaking scenery. A period property truly is the ideal location for your special event. Set in large private grounds with views over the surrounding countryside, the hotel offers its guests a high level of service.
Not forgetting our younger customers, we perform at Schools and Children's parties, providing entertainment and even organise games (we can also provide prizes for games that we play) letting the adults sit back while we entertain the Kid's. We have worked at many local Schools in the past ranging from 20 children to over 150 and have worked out a good routine to keep everyone happy and to keep the children enjoying themselves.

We stayed here for 3 days and I have to say it was an absolute pleasure, there were many little touches that had been well thought out and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was nicely cooked and the couple of main meals we had were tasty and hot. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much. The only downside to our stay was that our room and the hall leading to it smelt a bit damp which is a shame because the room and bathroom were decorated nicely and looked great. On the upside the bed was extremely comfortable and the views were lovely.

We had a really good night here, we will definitely come for longer next time. Location is well placed to visit several attractions in the area, Exeter, Buckfast Abbey, plus the South Devon railway.
Staff excellent, Mary is a star. Food in the restaurant was served hot, individually prepared and good portion size. Very quiet location and extensive pastoral views.

Toilet seat broken and broken armchair in the room, and the bathroom floor and toilet weren’t properly cleaned and it had cobwebs around the window and dust around the whole top trim of the tiles. I’d mentioned the issues with the toilet, but they weren’t addressed. The food was mediocre, with overcooked pastries and no immediately obvious provision for gluten or dairy free. We’d booked through booking.com and were bumped out of the family room we’d booked for a wedding party, though were told that it was a booking error, which cramped a family of four (2 boys under 9) into a double room

We stayed for three nights at this fabulous little hotel and it was our second visit here. You are greeted by what must surely be the most beautiful view from any car park in the country - we have several photos to prove it! It is such a stunning location, so quiet and peaceful. The staff at the hotel were amazing - everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming. However, we must thank Michelle in particular for whom nothing was too much trouble and who went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of cooked meals. In the evening, we dined in only once

Made a return visit feeling glad to have a break somewhere that feels very safe. We had lovely views from our room which was large and comfortable. Great breakfast choices and we enjoyed our evening meals. The public areas and grounds are beautifully maintained. Plenty of car parking. The hotel is well positioned for trips to the coast and Dartmoor for walking. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We are hoping to get back later in the year.
