Welcome to Tollymore Gate, a modern 3 bedroom, two bathroom detached house providing ideal accommodation for a family getaway in the country. For parties of more than 6 people we have an additional property, Tollymore Walk located within the same development. The property is located within the beautiful and award winning village of Bryansford. Guests love the tranquil setting, in this "gem of a location", with many returning for long or short stays throughout the year.
Services
A comprehensive Guest Book is provided at the house outlining some of the many things to do in the area. This really is a walker's paradise with a vast array of mountain and forest walks in outstanding scenery. Walkers can choose from the more challenging Mourne Mountain Treks to the more leisurely walks around Tollymore Forest which is adjacent to the property and Castlewellan Forest Park is only a 2 mile drive.
Payment: A Deposit of 100.00 is required to con?rm a booking. This will be helduntil after visitors leave and will be returned in the post within one week of departure if the accommodation is left reasonably clean, tidy and with no loss or damage. The full hire cost is due six weeks prior to commencement of the holiday.

Unfortunately I made the booking over a year in advance. During this time we found out we are expecting. I visited the property to see if it would work with a baby. Thankfully I did and contacted the owners to cancel as the property is too small to even fit a pram! It is at the very back exit of Tollymore, tucked in a small, dark corner and on a main road making it extremely dangerous for my other children with the cars exiting the park along with the busy main road. The property was described as being child friendly and pet friendly. There is no way I could bring either my pet or children here
