Arranged to have a Brazilian blowout with the person who did mine before (Wesley) unfortunately Wesley was not in on that day and no other stylist was qualified to do the Brazilian. I then found out Wesley no longer works at avant guard (was not informed of this when I asked for him) Wesley now works at Robert John Hair salon on Smithdown, so glad I found him again as I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair, especially for a Brazilian!

Second visit here for my teenage daughter. Loved her haircut last time so decided to come back and yes, she really loved her haircut again. Unfortunately, I can't recall the name of lady who cut my daughter's hair which is annoying as she was excellent and took a lot of time over it. Manager was very helpful. Overall great experience.

Would not recommend this place got a voucher of groupon pre-booked in for 12:00 turned up and refused to do my hair because he said he had “ full paying customers to do” and would not do mine at the time I booked in for and just walked away I was shocked at the hairdressers attitude and the customer service was disgraceful if you want your hair doing book into somewhere more reliable and Avoid this place.

Went here for the first time today for a cut and finish,Vickie did my hair and she was amazing, so professional and lovely to chat too. She made me feel comfortable as usually I'm quite anxious at the hairdresser's but she made me feel right at home. Will definitely be going back there again!! 10/10
