Scott Rees & Co is a legal law firm in Newton-le-Willows, close to Ashton-in-Makerfield where the Haydock Park Racecourse is located. We were formerly based in Skelmersdale but moved to our new offices at the end of 2017. We specialise in personal injury claims, conveyancing services, will writing and probate.

No communication or update with claim. Claim handlers always on lunch or away when you call. Other staff members rude on the phone and dis-interested in helping. Forever promised a call back and no response to emails.
However, when they email you they want a response straight away and when they offer a claim figure its either take it or leave it, if you ask to decline the first offer you are told the time frame has passed and you basically need to accept it even though you have responded to them within 48 hours of receiving first claim offer. No further correspondence since.

I have had a claim ongoing for 5 years with this company with a promise of 6 month resolution … they kept bugging me to take on my initial claim and quick for me to fill out initial forms but once they got the signatures they have had a lazy attitude to the case
I had to keep chasing for regular updates and gave up after a while as they kept fobbing me off
Kept passing it through numerous case handlers who kept asking for forms all over again
finally after 5 years and many case handlers later the case has finally been resolved and instead of providing
