Services
Alex Laird is a Chartered Civil and Structural engineer. He has over 15-years of experience and has practised in both the UK and New Zealand. Alex has a broad range of skills and particularly enjoys working on contemporary complex structures and heritage buildings. In New Zealand, he was part of the Christchurch recovery team and developed an interest in seismic engineering.
We provide a variety of structural inspections. These range from a basic visual inspection to detailed invasive inspections. Our team assesses the structural defects and provides a report outlining findings with solutions. Sometimes, construction work needs retrospective building regulations documentation.

We at Davey Construction are currently working with Entos on three very complex new build projects for three very discerning clients. We find Entos to be professional, punctual and precise. It has been and is a pleasure to work with them and the information provided by them has enabled us to complete the first project with ease and we are currently in the process of building the latest two projects with just the same level of competence and expertise. Perfect!

We had a problem with a complicated cliff top site and the consequent structural engineering. Alex and his team were recommended and it was clear why. He was direct, efficient and always took the time to explain details to me first time self builder. I've recommended Entos to other self builders and will continue to do so.
