Acer Tree Surgeons
Favourite Acer Moment: A bolt of lightning had rendered a very large (130ft), and very old oak - at St Katherine's School, Marlborough - unsafe. Cranes, chains, the lot. Basically 'the details'! Oh and a pretty bloody good tree surgeon too! Favourite Acer Moment: Any project when all the team are working together.

Particularly staff training / skills update days - we head into the woods and hone our skills, e.g.: rigging techniques / aerial rescues / etc. Terrific! Favourite Acer Moment: Being warmly welcomed back into the company after I left to pursue an unfulfilling carer as a plumber. Favourite Acer Moment: Adam R and I plucked 2 massive cedars with a crane in Lacock, Wilts.
Services
We specialise in all aspects of tree care and maintenance including diagnosis treatment and prevention of ill health in trees. Our Arborists have the knowledge and expertise to care for your trees to the highest of standards. Acer Tree Surgeons are proud to work in your local area. We cover Wiltshire, Somerset and surrounding counties, including Bath, Malmesbury and Chippenham.
The oldest tree in the UK is a yew that has stood in a churchyard in Scotland for around 3,000 years! Of course, not all trees live that long, but it's a sure bet that when a tree is planted in your garden it is going to be around for a long time, so inevitably it will end up growing too big, being in the way of a home extension, or encroaching on a neighbour.
Acer Tree Surgeons were friendly, professional, and went the extra mile to give a fantastic service. Not only that, but they were very competitive on price and one of the best value quotes we received. We'd fully recommend Nick and his team to anyone requiring tree work! I am writing to thank you for the recent work you did for us, felling and removing the large trees at the rear of my garden.
Acer Tree Surgeons now offer training solutions for both new comers to the industry, and seasoned professionals in the form of industry certs awarded through NPTC City & Guilds, and CPD (continual professional development) workshops. With the wide range of methods and new developments in climbing techniques now available to the modern arborist, it can sometimes seem difficult to take the next step in your career.

Fantastic service! Great people, you can feel their energy and positivity. They left our garden spotless after taking down our mature Black locust tree. It was quite a fiddly job as it was at the bottom of our garden within a kitchen garden that had young fruit trees not far from the tree to be taken out along with veggie beds etc. Nothing at all was damaged. Their machinery is a wow factor! -Adam we LOVE your Unimog! Will not hesitate to use again.. we’re already in the process of sending info for a quote for something else!

Fantastic service from the team on every occasion. Knowledgable, professional and engaging, it's always a pleasure to get them into our woods to help out with the things that are beyond our skillset.

Excellent service! They took down a very difficult tree in an inaccessible place with the minimum of fuss and mess. Most efficient.
