The Giants Causway is famous for its hexagonal rock formation resulting from volcanic activity some 60 million years ago. There are some 40,000 massive black basalt columns sticking out of the sea. Carrick -a-rede spans a chasm between the Antrim coast and a small island used by fishermen. There is an eighty foot drop to the sea and rocks below and the bridge is not for the faint hearted!
Shops, restaurants and pubs. There are two supermarkets and two butchers in Bushmills, while Glass's vegetable shop is unique and well worth a visit, with fresh salmon available in season. Larger supermarkets such as ASDA, Tesco and Sainsburys can be found in Coleraine approximately 10 miles away (Tesco, Sainsburys and ASDA provide an on-line ordering and delivery service to the area) and there is a large Co-op in Ballycastle.

Stayed at Seascape for a week in September.
Fantastic location
Fantastic property with more than enough room for 10 of us.
Plenty to do in and around the property without having to travel great distances.
The owners of Seascape Ian and Nicki made sure we were welcome and the property was handed over to us after a brief explanation of the workings in such.
Seascape was spotless.
The outdoor activities within the grounds kept us all busy.
Ages from 2 years to 61 inclusive.
Would highly recommend Seascape lodge to anyone visiting the north coast if Ireland who is looking to stay in a premier
