With usual dealer facilities available, most of our vehicles have 3 to 6 months warranty. We offer an MOT service by appointment or while you wait - our waiting area has a viewing window onto the testing bay, along with tea & coffee, colour TV and seating. As qualified brake specialists, we have a staff of highly trained technicians who do a quality fit, not a fast fit.

Established in 1986 by Gordon Murray as a car sales operation only and very much a one man concern, in 1991 Gordon expanded the business by building a purpose built showroom and workshop to accommodate 5 workstations and an MOT centre. Investing in the latest Bosch diagnostic equipment where all our technicians have been trained accordingly.
Murray Motors is proud to be one of the sponsors of Morgan (mechanic), who races a mini in the Scottish Celtic Mini Championship at Knockhill. We are also proud of our mechanical team at Murray Motors who contributed to Morgan's success, as the Mini was checked over and maintained after and before each race meeting.
Using the latest in Bosch Electronic Diagnostic Equipment, our trained technicians can quickly pinpoint engine and electrical faults for most vehicle makes and models. Technology is becoming increasingly more advanced in vehicles, to such an extent that a simple service will bring the technician into contact with a series of complex systems that eventually require car diagnostics equipment to interrogate.

We are a fully authorised and regulated MOT testing centre, with bookings available daily from 8am until 4pm daily (except Sundays). Our MOT waiting area has has a viewing window directly onto the MOT testing bay along with tea & coffee making facilities, colour TV and seating. The biggest scammers‼️
Selling faulty car!! We both 2016 years car and they said that it’s really good car without problems… NO FAULT FOUND for problems that cost more then £2400‼️⚠️⚠️ Note all problems been noticed and found within first days after we both the car!!!!!!!!
They lied to us that ac been fixed but it’s totally failed ac compressor and cost £927 to fix, I attached pictures…. You can see pictures of clutch that they said no fault found and to fix it cost was £773‼️Engine mounts, turbo was spreading oil… Car had so much problems that is not listed in

The biggest scammers I ever seen!! Check car properly before you buying it and don’t get scammed as we have been. 2016 car with just 44k on clock had so much problems!!! Better avoid this dealer!!!! Worst experience I ever had when buying car!!! Customer service is unbelievably poor….

Independent vehicle inspector confirmed faults and also third party garage quote us for the repairs.

Murray Motors does it again... I've been with Murray Motors for about 10 years now and they always deliver on thier promise. I've bought my last 5 cars from them and brought them back for MOTs and services as required. Always service with a smile when dealing with Gordon, Avril their son or their secretary Pamela. Top class family run firm. Friendly, professional and efficient, nothing is too much trouble.

My intent of the rating was to advise people to make sure they take a suitable warranty. My daughter did not expect to have this go wrong with a car that has only done 40600 miles! The fault is there wether she came to your garage for the repair or not, and as you said when I phoned there was nothing you would be able to do. Facing a large bill for repairs that should not have to be conducted on this age of vehicle was not some thing she was expecting. The experience unpleasant as It is would prompt us to consider the type of warranty and which dealer we would use in the future.
