We are an experienced and dedicated team of decorators with a genuine passion for interior decorating and design. With over 20 years experience within the decorative painting industry, we cover all aspects of paint finishes from general painting and decorating through to a wide range of specialist finishes to transform walls, furniture and kitchen units.
We are heavily invested in the use of our Festool dust extractors and sanders and everyone of our team has this equipment as standard. All sanding preparation is carried out using a range of sanders to accommodate both wood, walls and ceilings and is attached to an automatic extraction system that removes 95% of dust!
Rather than replacing your furniture we can antique or distress it to give it that beautiful timeless 'shabby chic' look where its subtlety will blend with any colour scheme. We can custom match virtually any colour to blend in or compliment your existing furniture or soft furnishings so the completed look is totally unique and individual to you.
We specialise in hand painting both old and newly fitted kitchens. We have worked with a number of design companies and home owners alike across the country to help achieve their dream kitchen. Often a hand built kitchen is fitted unfinished or, at the most pre-primed ready for us to work our magic.
Calico are a team of dedicated specialist decorators with a passion for venetian plaster, creating stunning finishes & effects to complete your interior design. This time honoured technique is used to create classic & contemporary finishes along with amazing embossed or relief images. Venetian Plaster finishes have an incredible ability to reflect or absorb light giving an unmatched feel to the space.

Calico Painters and Decorators were highly professional, always punctual and left everything clean and tidy at the end of each working day. They were efficient and stayed within the expected time quoted and the price.
They offered good advice and were helpful when one or two changes were made. I am looking forward to them returning to continue with other areas of decorating in the house as soon as possible!

Calico came very highly recommended & proved to be very professional & delivered a high quality of workmanship. A pre-decor meeting was arranged to choose colour schemes & this proved very helpful. The team worked very well together & always left the working area clean & tidy. Nothing was too much trouble & we would highly recommend Calico. We still have a few decorating projects & we look forward to using them again ourselves. Brilliant job!

We have been using and recommending Rebecca and her team for a number of years. They painted our bedrooms, kitchen and later on our hall, stairs, landing and front door. They also used a dustless sander to strip back our wooden floors and completely revarnish, so they looked like new. Their attention to detail is meticulous, as is the care they take in the preparation. We have always been thrilled with their work, they're great to have around and they've given us lots of colour/interiors advice too. Thanks Rebecca .. always happy to recommend you!

Very impressed with these ladies - we have purchased a bit of a project and decided to decorate two of the bedrooms which hadn't been decorated in 25+ years with damp, mouldy walls and who knows how many layers of wall paper. They were efficient, tidy, excellent attention to detail and great advise on colours and paints. Fair price too - there will be more work at our house and we'll be getting Rebecca and the team back in. Definitely recommend.

Brilliant decorators. Very tidy, precise and professional. I am so fussy about the finish that I want, so I went to great lengths to find the right decorator - and Calico more than exceeded our expectations. They were recommended by our builders who have a great reputation also.
