The Gate Lodge is a recently refurbished Victorian, detached, family house of character in a quiet setting in a village on the outskirts of Cambridge. We try to provide upmarket traditional B&B for business or leisure with friendly and flexible service - just ask and we'll do our best to provide it.
Our guests seem to appreciate staying in somewhere with character, quality, and a personal touch. We certainly receive positive feedback and guests keep coming back. The bedrooms are spacious with good beds, internet connection, and pleasant, simple, decoration. All sanitaryware has been installed recently and the showers are high pressure.

Superb B & B, friendly, but not overpowering owner, Susan is very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and quality furnishings in the bedroom and guest lounge complimented the grand exterior.
Very quiet through the night with no road noise. Powerful shower in the en-suite and an excellent breakfast.

Outstanding hostess, outstanding location, calm and pretty.
We were feeling like friends as we got advised of nice restaurants, addresses, promenade. We were even asked what our best time would be for breakfast! Our 10:30 choice was welcomed and I shall not mention how nice the breakfast was then... I would keep the surprise
