We are open Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm and Saturday 10am - 4pm, so you can come in for breakfast, lunch, early tea or all three! We source fresh, local (where we can!) ingredients and make up our food daily so we always have food ready to go whether you are in a rush or looking to stay a while. Here at Lovelocks we have vegan, veggie, coeliac and meat options so there is always something for everyone.
An avid coffee lover with a passion for food, Sarah had always dreamt of owning a coffee shop. Whiling away the hours filling sketchbooks with ideas and amassing a growing coffee mug collection. She hoped to escape the comfort of her job in the textiles industry to pursue her passion. Now a haven nestled in the Edwardian architecture of Liverpool's bustling city centre.

Cheap, cute aesthetic. Cutlery came out dirty with liquid on it. Staff were very friendly. My friend and I both had the French toast and she found a black hair baked inside it? Put us both off eating tbh but it was nice of them to comp hers at least. Had a great time at Moose Coffee straight after though 😌

We stumbled across this little place on our way to the world museum and in search of breakfast.
The interior is everything and for me as a plant lover it was a dream 🌱
Staff were super friendly, service quick and I had an amazing honeycomb latte with smashed avo on heart shaped toast (which if unintentionally, put a smile on my face)
Definitely worth hunting out 🌟

Waiting outside the library after having my shift swapped and not being told (again). The library opens at 10 so there is time to kill. Need to renew my card.
An eclectic, eccentric, crowd of people are waiting for the library to open. Students young and old, homeless looking for warmth, hippies and more. Ageing bikers muttering to themselves. It puts me in a certain melancholic, introspective mood.
Seeking food and shelter myself I've come to a delightful little cafe near to the library called 'Lovelocks'. Full of mid-century modernist furniture, with a piano in one corner and

Such a cute little local find! It's like stepping into your friend's back garden for breakfast!
I found this place by chance walking one day through town and I'm so glad I did! My friends and I were greeted very warmly as we arrived and got to choose where to sit. Then we ordered at the counter.
You can see everything being made there. All items used are local, which I love. There are vegan and vegetarian options as well. Cute little menu with the right amount of stuff on their for breakfast or lunch. They also have cakes! Variety of toasts, bagels, French toast, coffees, teas
