Gerard O'Kane Photography

My Name is Gerard O'Kane from the great city of Derry, father of 3 and oldest of a family of 8. I grew up in the Glen area of the city from where I began taking pictures at a young age but never took it seriously until I was in my 20's, even then I played with a 35 mm camera shooting mainly in Black and white developing and printing in my bedroom.

Photography has taken a giant leap from not too far back with the digital revolution and technology, Gone are the days of developing black and white images to a fully digital office suite from where I work from at present.
