Welcome to Violets, a mother and daughter run business based in the lovely small village of Sawbridgeworth. My Mum, Donna, is a qualified floristry teacher with over 20 years experience. She opened Violets in 2013 as a solo venture and has gone from strength to strength. There isn't much she hasn't put her skills to, from teaching at local colleges to evening classes & festive workshops where she passes her knowledge and passion onto you.

There is nothing Donna enjoys more than helping other people develop their floristry skills. Whether you are a competent flower arranger or your skills go as far as picking up a shop bought bouquet and putting it in a vase, we welcome all skill levels. At Violets School of Flowers you will learn the principles of floristry using a variety of techniques in a relaxed atmosphere that is filled with fun and flowers.

We pride ourselves in providing you with perfect flowers for your special day that compliments you both on your wedding day.

We offer an extensive range of funeral designs to suit everyone's price range and desires. We have made many bespoke tributes over the years from border collies to penguins to football designs and everything in between.
Whether you are looking for us to dress your home for an event, a counter piece for your reception or table decorations in your restaurant. We offer a large range of designs from smaller country jam jars style to large unique show pieces. Whether it's a one off function or a more frequent arrangement we can organize a design to suit your personal taste.

I had my great uncles floral tribute done here, it was a 5ft tribute to lay on top of the coffin with lilies and white Rose's. It was absolutely stunning and I would highly recommend getting flowers from here, I told Donna what I wanted and it was perfect. Donna is a lovely lady with superb customer service thank you so much.

I wanted to say how pleased our family was with the stunning floral tributes Donna made for both our parents funerals. They loved their garden and the flowers Donna selected summed that up so perfectly.
