Road and Racing Performance was founded in 2010 by Alan Cook who still owns and runs the business day to day. Alan and his staff have decades of experience between them and have worked with all marques of road bikes and in various British and World motorcycle racing championships. Road and Racing Performance cater for all motorcyclists from learners and commuters to track day and race riders.

Alan has been in the motorcycle industry all of his life after starting as an apprentice technician. He has gained experience with Ducati, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki at franchise dealerships, eventually becoming Service Manager at Crescent Suzuki. At Crescents, Alan was not only running the workshop operations but developing and machining cylinder heads for the factory Suzuki race team, as well as being the chief dyno technician.

Bike went for in for fork seals and tyres, not cheap, 500 quid, when I asked to check, that he changed the wheel valves as matter of course he turned round and said they didn't need them, got bike home and front was down to 15psi, didn't even check them so what else has he skimped on, valves should be changed if needed or not, so I will be going elsewhere and my friends

After taking my bike to dealerships and them not knowing/guessing the problem my bike had. Replacing parts that were not even needed. I took it to Road and Race Performance and they were just on it. Fixed the problem and the speed in which it was sorted was second to none. This will be the ONLY place I will take my bike to form now on.

Shisters. Paid 480 quid to have my forks re sprung and valved. Supposed to have changed the seals and dust seals. After picking them up I noticed they had the same old seals. 18months later the seals blew and when I had them changed the mechanic said the oil was so bad it must have been the original oil...2006 bike. He could not confirm if the springs were original or not. Never going back and will tell anyone and everyone what I think of this place. Am sure if you are racer or race team that you probably get treated well.....

This is a fantastic motor cycle shop located just off the M67 in hyde. Roger the owner and his team are very experienced and provide a service of new and used bikes with a dealership for Suzuki, MV Agusta and Peugeot. They have a great range of accessories including clothing for ladies and men.helmets and gloves.I have been in the store a number of times and purchased a bike from there and was very happy with the service. There is good parking facilities outside and you can book an MOT or Service from the workshop.
