I've been a wedding and portrait photographer in Chester for over 12 years now. I absolutely love photography, especially when it comes to capturing one of the most amazing days ever, your wedding day. My style and approach is very relaxed and unobtrusive. Although I am a professional wedding and portrait photographer, I'd rather you feel that you're inviting an old friend to your wedding who just happens to have a really nice camera.
Every wedding I capture is unique. So for me it's all about getting to know each other and going on the journey together. By the end of which you'll have stunning photographs that will tell the story of your day forever. My wedding photography studio is in Saughall, Chester. I work mainly in Cheshire, Liverpool, Manchester and North Wales.

I'm Jason and thank you for your interest in what I love to do. My passion for photography began back in 1988, when I completed my first photography course whilst serving with the Royal Marines. Following on from this, I had an incredible experience filming and photographing whithe water rafting trips whilst living in Canada and Nepal.

We couldn’t recommend Jason as a photographer highly enough. He may be there primarily there to take great photos, but the way he goes about doing it is equally important. He’s such a friendly approachable person who will put even the most camera shy subjects at ease, although a lot of the time you’re hardly aware he is there and will only realise on seeing the photos after how much he was snapping away in the background.

We are in the process of refreshing our website and required new team photos. Jason was extremely professional yet made us feel completely at ease. His studio creates a very calm atmosphere and any nerves quickly disappeared. The photographs were exactly what we wanted and have really enhanced our website. I would not hesitate in the slightest in recommending Jason.

If you're looking for a top notch wedding photographer, then look no further. Jason recently photographed my daughter's wedding and to say he did an excellent job would be to do him a disservice. He blended brilliantly into the day and the evening, and the resulting photographs are out of this world. So many amazing captures, the most difficult part of choosing an album is which ones to leave out. Jason also produced an accompanying slideshow with music, and this has me in tears from start to finish. Not because it's no good you understand, but because it's truly stunning. I could wax even more

Our big day would not have been captured so impeccably if it wasn't for Jason's in-depth knowledge and understanding of photography. He knew the venue so well that he made excellent suggestions for backgrounds, lighting etc. His suggestions and help made the day run so smoothly. Jason captured our wedding day perfectly! His excellent knowledge of the venue came through during the pre-wedding meetings, and he put us at ease immediately. On the day J was very professional, but came across very friendly and several guests commented on how well he herded people for the group shots without being shouty! The sunset shots were absolutely stunning, and J managed to capture so many natural moments, looking through the photos is like reliving the day all over again.
