Hi I'm Craig, I am a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and I am passionate about road safety. I decided to train to become a driving instructor because I wanted a job with real satisfaction and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass their test first time. I was also always being told by friends and work colleagues that I was a calm and relaxed type of person and that I would make a great Driving Instructor.
I was fortunate to be trained by LDC in the latest adult coaching and training techniques so you can be assured the training I give will be of the highest standard. I chose to work with LDC because everybody is different and the LD System allows for flexibility in lessons so that you learn to drive safely at a rate that suits you.

Services
All the courses shown use the unique LD System of driving tuition. Details about each of these services is described below with advice on how to decide which service would best suit you and for the prices or information on how to book one of these courses please visit the prices page.
Please note taking a course does not guarantee that you will pass, however, if you successfully complete all the targets in the LDC workbook it is highly probable that you will.Learning to drive, using the LD System, can be spread over several weeks and lessons can be booked individually or in a block at a discount.

To help you decide which course would best suit you I can potentially provide a free, no obligation, home visit. At this meeting I will be happy to explain to you and any other family members how the LD System works and what each course provides. I currently provide driving lessons in the following postcode areas: KA6, KA7, KA8, KA9, KA10, KA18, KA5 and KA1. Each driving lesson is 60 minutes long. Please note if you live in an area where I may need to travel a long distance I may require you to book a 2 hour lesson.
Let me introduce the unique Learner Driving tuition system (LD System), a system that has been designed for maximum progress and ease of learning. It is a system where each driving lesson is carefully planned and follows a set programme with clearly defined targets, where the instructors use professional training materials and modern training methods to ensure training is both effective and enjoyable.
Endorsements, penalty points and driving bans will no longer be recorded on driving licences, but will instead only be accessible online. For insurance purposes, before your first driving lesson your Instructor is required to check your full licence details to see the vehicles you're allowed to drive, and to check for penalty points and disqualifications.

Absolutely fantastic. I'd tried other instructors but none of them put me at ease as much as Craig. His way of instructing is exceptional and he has endless patience. I never thought I'd be able to drive but he made it a reality and the confidence I built behind the wheel is 100% attributed to his guidance. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to learn to drive.

A great driving instructor, very understanding of people who cry at everything as well (on hand with a tissue and some words of encouragement) couldn’t recommend him enough - not only to get you through your driving test but to teach you how to drive safe and well for life ☺️ Would give 10 stars if that was an option!

I only had a very short amount of time getting lessons from Craig and in that time my confidence behind the wheel came on leaps and bounds. I would recommend Craig to anyone learning to drive as he is calm and patient and goes the extra mile to help you learn not like other instructors that just want your money.

When learning to drive with Craig i always had a great experience. His lessons were so valuable and i couldnt of done it without him. He always made sure i was confident in my abilities and taught me the skills to be a safe and considerate driver. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

I had been doing driving lessons with Craig for a good couple of years and I really do have to commend him, he is a fantastic driving instructor with the patience of a saint, can’t do enough to help you feel confident on lessons and the day of your test, 10/10 from me thanks again craig for helping me pass my test!

Craig is an excellent driving instructor. My son passed first time. Craig is great with learners who have additional needs and is able to break down instructions to make them understandable. Would highly recommend for learners. I will be using Craig again for my other son.
