Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral that has been used in a range of building materials to make them more rigid and fire resistant. It has also been used in household products such as ironing boards and oven gloves. The three main types of commercially used Asbestos are Chrysotile - often referred to as "White asbestos", Amosite - often referred to as "Brown asbestos" and Crocidolite - often referred to as "Blue asbestos".
Once you have contacted us via email or phone we will swiftly arrange for one of our surveyors to visit your premises to undertake either a Refurbishment & Demolition or Management Survey. After an initial visual inspection, our surveyors will take any samples of materials that could potentially contain asbestos.
We engaged Ace Asbestos Limited to undertake Type 2 surveys on the majority of parishes in this Diocese as they proved to be the most competitive and efficient from the list circulated. The surveys were conducted efficiently and the reports were filed promptly to both the parish and this office. The reports were easy to follow and comprehensive.
Our surveys conform to the Health & Safety Executive HSG264 and are sympathetic to the working environment. Our surveyors will aim to form a professional and collaborative partnership with our customers and alleviate any anxiety about asbestos that may be present in the properties being surveyed. The Management Asbestos Survey replaces the old type 1 and type 2 asbestos survey.

Surveyor also failed to indicate the likelihood of these panels appearing behind all the external wood paneling, given the age and construction type of the property. The experienced surveyor named
