Services
Georgian Antiques was started in 1978 by Padraic Dixon in a small premises at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh. His brother John Dixon joined the business in 1981, and we moved to another small premises by Holyrood Park. As the business expanded rapidly we acquired 4,500sq feet at Windsor Place in Portobello in 1983.

Excellent service and very helpful delivery men. We were unable to haul our furniture up the stairs and decided to leave it in the living room. However, on delivering smaller items, the delivery man kindly helped us lift the chest up a difficult and narrow staircase. We love the antique furniture and would recommend this company to all who cherish original solid wooden furniture pieces with history.

I think the phrase used below says it best - "A hidden Gem" and a big one at that! I've never seen such a large collection of antique furniture and curiosities under one roof and I never come away from there without learning something new. If you have any interest in antiques and you are anywhere near Edinburgh you have to make your way down to this place.
