The Swan At Iver is a pub and restaurant in the picturesque town of Iver, Buckinghamshire, located opposite St Peters Church at the east end of the village. The Swan Inn, The Swan Hotel, The Swan Coaching Inn.all titles this fabulous building has had since the 16th Century when Dick Turpin was allegedly one of the more notorious clients.
Nearer to the modern day the crew and cast of the Carry On Films were regulars with Sid James often being invited to leave due to bawdy behaviour! Who could imagine such a thing? These days things are little more sedate, a lot more focused on service and quality but nonetheless still fun. We were also on TV when Ross Kemp came to visit us during lockdown to find out about all of the support we are providing to the local homeless community.

The place was disappointing as the pub was loud and lary. No cosy corners to sit down and cuddle up with your partner, not a pub for courting couples. More of a family pub. Also was disappointed with the Sunday roast, the meat was chewy and not cooked properly, I could still see red in my lamb. I won't be visiting this bub again. Disappointing for a was was meant to be a quite country pub.
